Arkote's Endurakote Solution for Kew Engineering's RAA Charging Stations

Kew Engineering was tasked with developing a network of charging stations for the Royal Automobile Association (RAA). These charging stations needed to withstand the harsh environmental conditions of the region while maintaining a vibrant and attractive appearance. Durability, protection from corrosion, and visual appeal were top priorities for Kew Engineering, who sought a coating system that would meet these demands.

Kew Engineering turned to Arkote, to provide the right solution. Arkote’s Endurakote Multilayer Powder Coating System was chosen for its exceptional performance and aesthetic qualities.

Resilience with Endurakote for Outdoor Applications

The Endurakote system is renowned for its resilience in extreme conditions, making it ideal for outdoor applications such as charging stations. The panels were coated in vibrant yellow with black accents, ensuring high visibility and easy identification, thereby enhancing user accessibility. This colour scheme also aligned with RAA’s branding, giving the stations a distinct and professional appearance.

RAA's newly installed charging stations across South Australia, some Eastern states, and Tasmania provide a reliable and sustainable electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The integration of Arkote’s advanced Endurakote finish ensures long-lasting durability and resilience under frequent public use. This innovative coating not only met Kew Engineering’s stringent durability requirements but also exceeded expectations in visual appeal and longevity. The result is a network of charging stations that seamlessly combines functionality with outstanding design, establishing a new benchmark for both durability and aesthetic excellence.
